Accountant

Accountant will be responsible for managing accounting operations, budgeting, and project-wise costing for signage projects. The role requires strong experience in manufacturing cost control, job costing, and project profitability reporting, ensuring accurate financial tracking for each signage job from estimation to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage annual budgets, project budgets, and cost forecasts.
• Handle project-wise and job-wise costing for signage works including fabrication, installation, and subcontracting.
• Monitor actual vs. budgeted costs for each signage project and report variances.
• Prepare project profitability reports (job-wise P&L) for management review.
• Track manufacturing costs including raw materials ( steel, acrylic,), labor, overheads
• Ensure proper allocation of direct and indirect costs to individual projects.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
• Coordinate with Estimation, Production, Procurement, and Project teams for cost control.
• Manage GL entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist management in pricing, estimation validation, and margin improvement.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in Steel manufacturing, or project-based companies.
• Strong experience in budgeting, job costing, and project accounting.
• Proven experience in manufacturing cost analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel.
• Ability to prepare detailed project/job-wise financial reports.
