The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and handling the day-to-day accounting functions of the organization. The role includes preparing and updating books of accounts, managing cash and bank transactions, handling vouchers, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring proper documentation of all financial activities. The Accountant also assists in preparing financial reports, supports audit processes, ensures compliance with organizational policies and statutory requirements, and coordinates with management for timely submission of financial data.
