Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive Accountant who goes beyond basic data entry. This role is critical for our growth, requiring a professional who can manage the full billing cycle from proposal to invoice and provide clear monthly forecasting to guide our financial decisions. Please note: A valid driving license is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Forecasting: Prepare and present detailed monthly Income and Expenditure reports. You will analyze trends and provide forecasts to help management anticipate cash flow needs.
• Sales Operations: Draft professional proposals for clients and convert them into invoices upon project approval, ensuring accuracy in pricing and terms.
• Zoho Management: Act as the primary administrator for Zoho Books/Finance. You will manage all transactions, reconciliations, and reporting within the Zoho ecosystem.
• General Accounting: Maintain the general ledger, manage accounts payable/receivable, and ensure all financial records are audit-ready.
• Field Tasks: Utilize your driving license for essential business tasks, which may include banking runs, meeting with local tax authorities, or visiting client sites for document collection.

Specific Requirements

• Software Experience: Proven experience using Zoho (Books, Inventory, or CRM) is non-negotiable.
• Reporting Skills: Ability to synthesize raw data into clear "Actual vs. Forecast" expenditure reports.
• Communication: Strong written skills for drafting client-facing proposals and professional correspondence.
• Mobility: Must possess a valid Driving License and a clean driving record.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of experience in a role that includes financial reporting and invoicing.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for advanced data modeling outside of Zoho).
