Accountant

We are seeking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing healthcare facility. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in a healthcare or medical setup and strong knowledge of insurance billing, inventory control, and VAT compliance within the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions
• Handle medical insurance reconciliation and coordinate with RCM/billing team
• Monitor and control medical inventory, stock valuation, and cost tracking
• Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE FTA regulations
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledger entries
• Assist in monthly closing, profit & loss statements, and financial reporting
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with DOH/DHA standards
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations and expense monitoring
• Other tasks assigned by the management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience (Healthcare experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
• Experience handling medical insurance claims and reconciliation
• Familiarity with inventory management systems in clinics/hospitals
• Proficiency in Excel (P&L analysis, pivot tables, financial tracking)
• Knowledge of accounting software (Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
