Accountant is responsible for assisting the accounting team with the daily financial operations of the restaurant. This role includes handling basic accounting tasks such Assisting financial reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Record day-to-day financial transactions, including sales, expenses, and inventory purchases.
· Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments.
· Maintain payroll records and respond to any payroll-related inquiries.
· Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
· Support the preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
· Monitor and track the restaurant's financial performance, providing reports to senior management.
· Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including receipts, invoices, and contracts.
