Alida Global Commercial Trading and Contracting W.L.L is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the company’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle accounts payable processes including invoice verification, posting, and payments to suppliers and subcontractors.

Prepare monthly closing entries, reconcile accounts, and generate financial summaries.

Record and maintain general vouchers for all accounting transactions.

Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to management.

Monitor project-related expenses and ensure proper cost allocation.

Assist in preparing bank reconciliations and supporting schedules.

Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Coordinate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the construction field.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems).

Strong knowledge of payables, journal entries, and financial reporting.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
