Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and support daily accounting operations within our gold trading business. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience in trading or bullion-related industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgeting
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and tax filings
• Assist with audits and financial reviews
• Track inventory valuation related to gold, bullion, and jewelry
• Coordinate with management on financial planning and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–3 years of accounting experience (gold/jewelry/trading industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Understanding of VAT regulations in the UAE
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential financial data
