Accountant – Responsibilities & Requirements

Prepare Cost to Complete (CTC) and update regularly based on project progress; requires 3–5 years experience in contracting/construction

Track budget vs actual cost and identify variance in materials, labour, subcontractor, and overhead costs

Ensure proper revenue recognition and create required provisions for project expenses

Maintain project-wise cost tracking in ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) with good Excel support

Handle subcontractor accounting including certification, invoice verification, and payment follow-up

Monitor invoicing, unbilled revenue, and collections; coordinate with site and billing team

Track inventory, GRNs, and site consumption to avoid excess usage or loss

Prepare MIS reports, WIP reports, and project profitability statements

Support project cashflow tracking by monitoring inflow and outflow at project level

Assist in VAT and Corporate Tax compliance with proper documentation

Support month-end closing activities like cost booking, provisions, and reconciliations

Requires MBA Finance / CMA / CA Inter (or equivalent), good knowledge of project accounting, ERP systems, and strong Excel skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
