Position Overview:
We are seeking acompetent and detail oriented Accountant who can independently manage financial records, support audit readiness, and contribute to cost control in a fast paced seafood export environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records (sales, purchases, expenses), handle inventory accounting for raw and frozen stock, manage cost allocation for inventory, monitor expenses, and support cost control initiatives
- Manage export related transactions and documentation
- Prepare basic financial reports (balance sheets, cost sheets, expense tracking, income statement, and cash flow statement)
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate filings
- Process payroll, ensuring accuracy in calculations of salaries, bonuses, deductions, and other payroll-related activities, and handle employee inquiries related to payroll and resolve any discrepancies
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department, including filing, document management, and correspondence
Eligibility:
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com), MBA (Finance), or M. Com
Qualification in ACCA or CA will be an advantage
Experience:
- Strong Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting dashboards)
- Bank correspondence & reconciliation handling
- Taxation basics (Sales Tax, Income Tax compliance)
- Financial reporting & audit support
NOTE:
Candidates from Malir, Korangi and Landhi vicinity will be preferred.
This role requires hands-on capability. Candidates with only theoretical knowledge may not be considered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
