Quaid Technologies’ sister company, The Pak Enterprises, a rapidly growing logistics and transport organization managing a fleet of 20+ heavy vehicles, is seeking a high-performing Senior Accountant / Finance Lead to take ownership of its finance and compliance function.This role is ideal for a hands-on, commercially aware finance professional who can go beyond bookkeeping and actively contribute to financial control, taxation, and business decision-making across both fleet operations and project-based engagements.Role OverviewYou will be responsible for end-to-end financial management, including accounting operations, taxation (FBR & provincial), and financial oversight of fleet operations as well as multiple ongoing projects with corporate clients. This is a key position with direct visibility to management, requiring ownership, accuracy, and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complete accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow planning
- Implement and maintain financial controls and reporting systems
- Oversee fleet financial management, including:
- Fuel consumption tracking
- Maintenance and repair costs
- Driver payments and allocations
- Cost optimization across 20+ heavy vehicles
- Manage financials for multiple projects and contracts with companies, including:
- Project-wise costing and profitability analysis
- Revenue tracking and invoicing
- Expense allocation per project
- Monitoring receivables and payment cycles
- Ensure financial discipline, cost efficiency, and margin visibility across both fleet and project operations
- Provide actionable financial insights to support management decisions
Taxation & Compliance (Critical Area)
- Manage income tax and withholding tax (WHT), including deductions, payments, and filings
- Handle sales tax (FBR), including input/output adjustments and return submissions
- Manage provincial sales tax on services (PRA, SRB, KPRA, BRA) where applicable
- Ensure compliance with FBR, SECP, and provincial regulations
- Liaise with tax advisors, auditors, and authorities when required
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and support assessments
Entity & Structure Experience
- Manage accounts for Partnership Firms / AOPs (Association of Persons)
- Handle multi-entity or group-level financial coordination (preferred)
Systems & Tools
Strong hands-on experience with accounting systems is essential:
- QuickBooks
- Sage / Peachtree
- Tally
- Odoo
- Xero
- Exposure to ERP systems (SAP / Oracle) is an advantage
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is expected.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5–10+ years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience (non-audit dominant)
- Strong working knowledge of Pakistan taxation (FBR + provincial)
- Experience in logistics, transport, or project-based businesses is highly preferred
- Commercial mindset with ability to connect numbers to business decisions
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to take full ownership
- Comfortable working directly with senior management
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: PKR 80,000 – 200,000 (based on experience and capability)
