We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our financial team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering accurate financial reports. Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements.
- Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and month-end closing processes.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and accounts payable/receivable management to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform cash flow analysis, bank reconciliations, and financial report writing to support operational planning.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms for efficient bookkeeping and reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities to aid strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or non-profit sectors with a strong understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting principles.
- Proficiency with financial software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for financial report writing and presentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; experience mentoring or training colleagues is a plus.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
