Accountant

G.A. Johnson Construction, a well established Construction Management and Design Build company is seeking an EXPERIENCED Accountant. Successful candidate must have 5 years history of successful performance in a similar position.

Full Time M-F: Benefits after 90 days include health/dental/vision insurance, paid holidays and vacation, 401K

Duties & Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable
• Account Receivable
• Payroll
• Monthly Financial Statements
• Assist in year end annual audits

Requirements

• Experience in accounting, financial reporting, payroll processing, and benefit administration
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and applications
• Experience and knowledge of payroll principles and applications, tax reporting requirements
• Ability to organize and communicate effectively (both verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications

Five(5) or more years of accounting, financial reporting, payroll processing, and benefit administration

Experience with Sage accounting software a plus

Working Experience with MS Office, Excel, Word

Excellent written or oral skills
