Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Dubai office. The ideal candidate will manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards. This role requires precision, integrity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other local financial laws.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Assist in budget preparation, financial planning, and forecasting.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Support internal and external audits as required.
• Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes.
• Ensure timely reporting and resolution of discrepancies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and accounting standards.
• Proficient in accounting software
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is an advantage.
• Experience in IT/ICT sector accounting is a plus
