Job Summary

SANDS is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting business decision-making.

FRENCH LANGUAGE REQUIRED.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank and account reconciliations on a regular basis
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and UAE regulations
• Support VAT filing and compliance (UAE VAT returns, records, audits)
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders
• Maintain proper filing systems for financial documents
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with VAT regulations in the UAE
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Preferred Skills

• Experience in retail, hospitality, or trading environments
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Ability to handle multi-company or multi-branch accounting
