Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, records, and reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary financial documentation.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports efficiently.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
- Communicate effectively in Arabic and English with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Arabic (mandatory) and good command of English.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in UAE or GCC accounting practices.
- Knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
