Job Title: Accountant

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Accountant to join our team in Dubai and support the company’s continued growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, taxation, and compliance in line with UAE regulations. Experience in an accounting and audit firm is mandatory, and applications without this background will NOT be considered.

This is a full-time, on-site role. Preference will be given to candidates who are immediately available or have a notice period of up to one month, as well as applicants currently based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards.
• Ensure accurate application and compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, and local regulatory requirements.
• Manage the preparation, review, and timely submission of corporate tax returns in accordance with UAE tax laws.
• Review VAT calculations, returns, and supporting schedules, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure adherence to internal controls and reporting deadlines.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial analysis tools.
• Work efficiently with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar ERP systems.
• Support audits, financial reviews, and compliance-related requirements.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and deliver accurate, high-quality financial outputs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in an accounting and audit firm (required).
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
