THE POSITION: ACCOUNTANT

• Assist with Monthly and Year-end accounting close, including preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly journal entries, including prepaids and accruals.
• Maintain accurate and organized audit trail.
• Sales posting with reconciliation of dining, bar, delivery, events and catering transactions
• Daily payments reconciliation by reviewing cash, accounts receivable and other account activity.
• Maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
• Review and audit coding accuracy of A/P invoices.
• Assist with maintaining accurate files for accounting department.
• Verify accounts by reconciling statements and transactions on a regular basis.
• Complete daily accounting and finance tasks as needed.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

• Ability to be proactive, independent, efficient, and resourceful in a hands-on fluid environment
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at all levels
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• You majored in accounting or finance, or you have 1-2 years of accounts payable/ accounting experience
• You have excellent Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables and V-lookups)

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $85,000-$115,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
