Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant General to join our Karachi office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with UAE and GCC financial regulations, and supporting our international client base.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for UAE and GCC clients.

- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations.

- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws, GCC tax frameworks, and IFRS standards.

- Handle VAT filings, corporate tax documentation, and statutory reporting.

- Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors when required.

- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management decisions.

- Collaborate with cross-border teams to streamline accounting processes.

- Uphold confidentiality and professional ethics in all client dealings.

Qualifications & Requirements

- ACCA qualified or pursuing ACCA.

- BS in Accounting & Finance.

- CA Inter (preferred).

- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and GCC tax regulations.

- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho, or similar).

- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Prior experience with UAE/GCC clients will be an advantage.
