About the role:
Weare looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role insupporting the accounting operations across different legal entities. This roleoffers hands-on exposure to bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, monthly closings,payroll, audits, and tax compliance (VAT, WHT, CIT, TP), ensuring accurate andtimely financial reporting in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.
Expectations from the role:
The role supports accounting operationsacross different legal entities within the group.
- Prepare and issue sales invoices, creditnotes, and debit notes.
- Record and process journal entries,ensuring accurate and up-to-date accounting records per entity.
- Draft and record vendor bills in Odoo,calculate applicable WHT, and prepare payment run schedules.
- Support tax filing preparation (VAT, WHT,CIT, TP) and ensure compliance with applicable tax and zakat regulations.
- Prepare required documentation, schedules,and reconciliations to support internal and external audits.
- Maintain proper filing systems andfinancial documentation segregated per entity.
- Assist in intercompany reconciliations andensure accurate recording of intercompany transactions.
- Support payroll-related accounting entriesand reconciliations.
- Perform additional accounting duties asassigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 - 4 years of accounting experience.
- Experience working with multiple entities is a plus.
- Familiarity with Odoo or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
- Exposure to bookkeeping, audit, payroll review, and tax regulations.
- Understanding of VAT, WHT, CIT, and basic transfer pricing concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple sets of books simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good English and Arabic proficiency (written and spoken).
