Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the financial health of our practice. Your expertise will help us maintain accurate financial data, streamline accounting processes, and contribute to our continued success.

Duties

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to verify data integrity across the general ledger.
• Handle payroll management tasks utilizing systems like Quickbooks, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments.
• Maintain detailed records of journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping transactions, and month-end closing activities.
• Conduct internal audits for financial reporting accuracy.
• Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities related to governmental accounting standards.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, governmental accounting standards, and technical accounting concepts.
• Proficiency in multiple accounting software platforms including QuickBooks.
• Experience with payroll management systems such as QuickBooks.
• Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation, balance sheet analysis, and accounts payable/receivable management.
• Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy (10 key typing) and proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping.
• Solid understanding of financial concepts including budgeting, credit analysis, and account analysis.
