Accountant

An Accounts Executive - Billing manages the end-to-end invoicing process, ensuring accurate and timely client billing, payment processing, and account reconciliation. Key duties include generating invoices, updating databases, monitoring accounts receivable, resolving billing queries, and preparing financial reports.

• Invoicing & Billing: Generate, review, and dispatch accurate invoices (paper/electronic) to clients on time.
• Accounts Receivable: Manage accounts receivable by tracking incoming payments, updating records, and reconciling accounts.
• Collections: Follow up with clients on outstanding debts, payment deadlines, and missed payments.
• Query Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for billing disputes, discrepancies, and inquiries from clients or internal teams.
• Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly reports on billing activities, revenue status, and Aging Reports.
• System Maintenance: Update the accounting system with new client accounts, rate changes, and payment details.
• Compliance: Ensure all invoicing complies with company policies and local tax regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a relevant financial role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Zoho Books).
• Analytical Skills: Strong numerical aptitude for reconciling payments and identifying discrepancies.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to deal with clients regarding payments.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years in a shipping or logistics company is preferable. Local experience in a UAE company would be an advantage.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
