- AP/AR Management: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices and tracking payments. Managing Prepaid Expenses, AMC Accruals.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Compliance & Tax: Ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g., VAT,).
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Budgeting: Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and expense tracking.
- Internal Controls: Maintain and improve internal accounting systems to prevent errors and fraud.
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
Skills required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Work experience as an Accountant in Facilities Management, Construction.
- Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (IFRS/GAAP)
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like SAP, Oracle
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to senior leadership and stakeholders.
