Job Summary

We are looking for a General Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with UAE VAT regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands‑on experience with accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting — Record AP, AR, petty cash, bank entries, and journal vouchers.

Reconciliation — Perform monthly bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.

VAT Filing — Prepare VAT reports, ensure correct VAT treatment, and assist with FTA submissions.

Financial Reports — Support month‑end closing, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow preparation.

Payroll Accounting — Process payroll entries and EOSB calculations.

Audit Support — Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation.

Inventory & Assets — Maintain fixed asset register and assist with stock audits.

Cash& Cheque Management- Petty Cash & Bank reconciliations, Cheques reconciliations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s/ Masters degree in Accounting / Finance

3–5 years of UAE accounting experience

Strong knowledge of UAE VAT

Proficiency in Tally / QuickBooks / ZOHO/other ERP systems

Good communication and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

Advanced Excel

Financial Analysis

Experience in WPS payroll

Knowledge of Basic FTA guidelines
