Accountant

Job Summary:
BastionEx is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

· Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis to provide management with timely and accurate financial information.

· Assist in the development and monitoring of the organization's budget, ensuring that expenditures are in line with budgetary constraints and providing analysis of variances as needed.

· Prepare and file various tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

· Assist in the preparation for external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and analysis as requested by auditors, and implement any recommendations for improvement that arise from audit findings.

· Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and provide insights and recommendations to management based on findings.

· Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and provide guidance to management on potential impacts to the organization.

· Work closely with other departments, such as finance, operations, and procurement, to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and support cross-functional initiatives.

· Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management, leveraging financial expertise to contribute to the achievement of organizational goals

. Should have knowledge to do PRO related work like visa processing and labor contacts and assist the HR with all such needs.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

· Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a corporate environment in UAE

· Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.

· Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality in handling financial information.

· Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices through professional development and training opportunities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month
