Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records, accounting transactions, reconciliations, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate must possess strong accounting knowledge and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to support financial analysis, reporting, and operational requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions
- Prepare vouchers, ledgers, and journal entries
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning activities
- Maintain taxation and statutory compliance records
- Develop and manage Excel-based reports, trackers, and financial analyses
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation during audits
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Financial Reports, Data Analysis, Formulas, and Reporting)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with accounting software/ERP systems will be preferred
- Preference will be given to candidates having an audit background
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
