Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge along with experience in construction/contracting industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, GL)
• Monitor project cost accounting and job costing for construction projects
• Process subcontractor payments, supplier invoices, and retention payments
• Prepare project-wise budgets and variance analysis
• Manage site expenses, petty cash, and payroll processing
• Reconcile bank accounts and vendor statements
• Prepare monthly financial reports for management
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and audit requirements
• Coordinate with project managers for cost tracking and reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 2–4 years of accounting experience in construction / contracting industry
• Strong knowledge of job costing and project accounting
• Experience with ERP systems (Tally)
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and financial compliance
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, Formulas, and Data Analysis)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
