Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to manage daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting practices, strong analytical skills, and the ability to maintain financial data efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and daily accounting entries.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Assist in payroll processing and salary disbursement activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow management.
• Record, verify, and track company expenses and financial transactions.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and support budgeting activities.
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial records and documentation.
• Assist with tax-related documentation and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with management regarding financial performance and reporting.
• Manage petty cash transactions and ensure accurate expense tracking.
• Support internal audits and financial verification procedures when required.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and financial controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, B.Com, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
• Effective communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
