Accountant

About the Role
We are a Dubai-based interior design and furniture company looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. You will manage day-to-day financial operations and keep our books accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Manage petty cash, ensuring proper recording and reconciliation
• Handle purchase orders and vendor bills accurately and on time
• Keep Zoho Books organized, updated, and audit-ready at all times
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
• Handle VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
• Coordinate with vendors and clients on invoicing and payments
• Support audits and year-end closing activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (experience in retail, furniture, or interior design is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books is required
• Solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Fluency in English and Hindi is required

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
