Overview
The company is seeking an Accountant with 3 to 5 years of professional experience who can execute accounting processes with technical accuracy, precision, and regulatory compliance. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the full accounting cycle, ensuring the integrity of financial records, and contributing to the efficiency of internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly Close Process — Execute the monthly close process in accordance with internal policies and applicable accounting principles.
- Account Reconciliations — Prepare and analyze general ledger, bank, and subsidiary account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Physical Inventory — Coordinate and participate in physical inventory counts; validate variances and prepare corresponding adjustments.
- Accounts Payable — Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, payment scheduling, and maintenance of supporting documentation.
- Payroll — Process payroll-related journal entries and support payroll activities through ADP.
- Financial Reporting — Prepare periodic financial reports and assist with variance analysis and key financial metrics.
- Audits — Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and supporting evidence.
- Process Improvement — Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and strengthen internal controls.
Qualifications
- Education — Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Professional Experience — 3 to 5 years of accounting experience.
- QuickBooks — Demonstrated experience using QuickBooks for accounting entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
- ADP — Knowledge of payroll processing and payroll reporting.
- Excel — Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Technical Knowledge — Understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles and full-cycle accounting processes.
- Analytical Skills — Ability to interpret financial information and prepare accurate reports.
- Attention to Detail — Strong organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy in handling financial data.
