Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and management reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Assist with audits and tax-related requirements.
• Monitor cash flow and support budgeting activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in UAE accounting practices.
• Knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems.
