Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our growing audit and accounting firm. The ideal candidate will assist in bookkeeping, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and audit-related tasks while supporting clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate accounting records and bookkeeping for clients.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, account schedules, and financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Support audit engagements and client documentation requirements.
• Prepare and assist with VAT returns and other tax compliance matters.
• Coordinate with clients regarding accounting and regulatory requirements.
• Perform general accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience (audit firm experience is an advantage).
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Familiarity with the procedures and compliance requirements of the FTA (Federal Tax Authority), including VAT return filing and tax compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally, or similar).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Comfortable using modern technology and AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar applications) to improve productivity, research, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new digital tools and accounting technologies.

Preferred Candidates:

• Valid UAE Spouse Visa holders are highly preferred.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
• UAE audit or accounting firm experience is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
