We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant / Accounts Assistant to join our office. The ideal candidate must have a B.Com qualification and basic accounting knowledge, including data entry, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily data entry in the accounting system
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Maintain purchase, sales, payment, and receipt records
- Assist with bank reconciliation
- Maintain supplier and customer accounts
- Support the preparation of financial statements
- Organize and file invoices, vouchers, and accounting documents
- Prepare accounting reports for management when required
Requirements
- B.Com qualification is mandatory
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Must know data entry and journal entries
- Basic understanding of financial statements
- Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work independently and complete tasks on time
- Previous accounting experience is preferred
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
