Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Monitor project costs, expenses, and profitability
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
- Prepare tax filings and support audits
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Communicate financial information clearly in Arabic and English (if required)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 4–7 years of experience as an accountant, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting, cost control, and project accounting
- Fluency in Arabic (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage
- Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, and project-based accounting
