We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our team. This role involves managing day-to-day financial operations and supporting office administration, playing a key part in ensuring efficiency and accuracy across both finance and logistics support functions.
Choosen candidate will be reporting to Senior accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts & Finance:
- Prepare and process customer and vendor invoices
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Manage petty cash and maintain related records
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and vendor accounts
- Maintain accurate records and follow up on outstanding payments
Administration:
- Procure office supplies, stationery, and consumables
- Coordinate with shipping lines to obtain and compare freight rates
- Maintain organized filing systems for finance and admin records
- Support day-to-day administrative operations of the office
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in a accountancy role (logistics industry experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Good command of English (written and verbal)
- Proactive, reliable, and a team player
