Accountant / Bookkeeper (Chinese Mandarin/English)

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, and will be proficient in various accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Accountant will work closely with management to provide insights into financial performance and assist in budgeting processes. Chinese Mandarin preferred only because some of our financial documents are in Chinese Mandarin.

Duties

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including journal entries and bookkeeping tasks.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and payroll processing as required.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, or other financial software for efficient record-keeping.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning.
• Prepare tax documents and ensure compliance with governmental accounting regulations.
• Collaborate with team members on financial report writing and account analysis.

Experience

• Proven experience in corporate accounting, non-profit accounting, or public accounting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping and technical accounting.
• Experience with financial report writing and account analysis is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial reporting.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
