Accountant – Bullion Trading

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bullion Accountant to manage accounting operations for our gold and silver trading business. The candidate must have hands-on experience with Suntech Accounting Software and be capable of preparing accurate financial and management reports.

The role involves managing daily transactions, maintaining financial records, monitoring expenses, and supporting management with financial insights for business decisions.

Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Records

• Maintain accurate general ledger and accounting records.
• Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, expenses, and payments.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations.

Bullion Accounting

• Record transactions related to gold and silver trading activities.
• Maintain accounting records for bullion inventory.
• Reconcile inventory balances with financial records when required.
• Maintain documentation for bullion purchases and sales.

Management Reporting

Prepare regular management reports, including:

Report Description Opening Balance Report Financial position at the beginning of the day or period Closing Balance Report End-of-day or period balances Trial Balance Summary of all ledger balances Profit & Loss Statement Revenue and expenses overview Expense Report Breakdown of operational expenses Software Requirement

The candidate must have experience using Suntech Accounting Software, including:

• Recording transactions
• Managing ledgers
• Generating reports
• Maintaining financial records

Additional useful tools:

• Microsoft Excel
• Accounting and reporting systems

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure accounting records comply with DED regulations and UAE accounting standards.
• Maintain proper financial documentation for audit and internal review.
• Organize and maintain accounting files and financial records.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years accounting experience
• Experience in Gold trading companies preferred
• Practical knowledge of Suntech Accounting Software

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
