The Accountant / Cashier will be responsible for managing daily cash, banking, accounting entries, and financial transactions of the showroom. The role ensures proper handling of customer payments, recording of accounts, and maintaining accuracy in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily cash collections and maintain cash book.
- Receive customer payments (cash, cheque, online, finance disbursements) and issue receipts.
- Deposit cash/cheques in bank and reconcile daily balances.
- Maintain records of vehicle sales, service, spares, and accessories collections.
- Prepare vouchers, invoices, and bills in Tally/ERP.
- Ensure timely entries of sales, purchases, expenses, and petty cash.
- Maintain accounts receivable and payable.
- Reconcile showroom accounts with bank statements.
- Support in preparation of GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
- Coordinate with auditors and management for financial reporting.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in financial transactions.
