Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a construction industry background to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support compliance, reporting, and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze accounts to ensure all transactions are accurate and properly recorded in the ERP system.
• Maintain and reconcile Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable with the General Ledger.
• Coordinate with different departments to support invoicing, reporting, and ad-hoc accounting queries.
• Coordinate with the Procurement Department to obtain and verify all payment transaction records.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and ledger reconciliation.
• Implement and monitor VAT processes in line with UAE regulations.
• Prepare and maintain statutory, legal, and regulatory reports.
• Provide timely support to Internal and External Auditors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Accountant in the construction / contracting industry.
• Strong experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance.
• Strong reconciliation, reporting, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Construction / Contracting: 3 years (Preferred)
• Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
