Accountant / Cost Controller

Looking for a highly organized and detail oriented Accountant / Cost Controller to join our team to keep our busy cafe operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily sales, expenses, and financial transactions
• Perform cash, bank, and supplier reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable and monitor cash flow
• Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers for ingredients, beverages, and packaging
• Issue and track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking
• Ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of all purchases
• Monitor and control food and beverage costs
• Prepare and update recipe costing and menu pricing
• Conduct inventory counts and track stock variances
• Analyze wastage, spoilage, and cost deviations
• Compare actual vs theoretical costs and recommend improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in bakery, café, or F&B industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting, inventory management, and cost control
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/POS systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills
