Accounting duties

  • Financial record keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping and general ledger entries.
  • Accounts payable/receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, and handle billing and collections.
  • Payroll: Process payroll accurately, manage employee records, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Bank reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and monitor daily banking transactions.
  • Financial reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, expense reports, and cash flow summaries.
  • Audits: Assist with annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Taxation: Ensure timely filing of taxes and compliance with tax regulations.

Administrative duties

  • Office management: Source office supplies, manage vendor coordination, and handle general office maintenance.
  • Correspondence: Screen and direct phone calls and manage incoming and outgoing mail and emails.
  • Scheduling: Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and make travel arrangements.
  • Record keeping: Maintain and organize both physical and digital office documentation and filing systems.
  • General support: Provide administrative support to management and other staff as needed.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in both administrative and accounting roles.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Organizational skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail: High accuracy and attention to detail are crucial for financial tasks.
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
