Key Roles & Responsibilities
Accounting Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts (AR, AP, GL)
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries
- Handle bank reconciliation and petty cash management
- Monitor receivables, follow up on outstanding payments
- Process supplier payments and maintain vendor records
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents
Administrative Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office administration activities
- Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and service providers
- Handle document control and filing (physical & digital)
- Support HR with attendance records, leave tracking, and payroll coordination
- Prepare official letters, emails, and internal correspondence
- Maintain office supplies and assets inventory
- Assist management with reports and administrative tasks as required
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in UAE
- Knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks
- Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
Preferred Skills
- Experience in construction / contracting / project-based companies
- Knowledge of UAE Labour Law basics
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
