We are a growing multispecialty healthcare center committed to providing quality care and excellent service to our patients. To support our operations, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant cum Inventory Control & Procurement to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting transactions and ensure proper recording in the system.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
- Assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and consumables.
- Conduct regular stock audits, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Implement controls to prevent stock shortages, pilferage, or wastage.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in line with company and regulatory standards.
- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors.
- Raise purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of goods/services.
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to anticipate and fulfill purchasing needs.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and DOH (Department of Health) guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, inventory control, and procurement (healthcare/clinic/hospital experience is an advantage).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and corporate tax compliance in UAE.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
