Accountant cum Procurement Officer (Joinery & Fit-Out)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant cum Procurement Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have 2 to 4 years of relevant UAE experience strictly within the joinery and interior fit-out industry. Candidates from other industries will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities – Accounting

• Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records including journal entries, vouchers, and ledgers
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, supplier invoices, and payment follow-ups
• Manage petty cash, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking
• Prepare monthly financial reports, statements, and summaries for management review
• Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and UAE regulations
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all financial records

Key Responsibilities – Procurement

• Handle end-to-end procurement activities for joinery and fit-out projects
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate quotations, issue purchase orders, and track deliveries
• Strong understanding of joinery and fit-out materials such as wood, boards, hardware, finishes, accessories, and MEP-related items
• Coordinate with factory, site, project, and store teams to ensure timely material availability
• Monitor material costs, supplier performance, and delivery schedules
• Maintain updated supplier databases and procurement records
• Ensure cost control and budget compliance across projects

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years UAE experience in joinery and interior fit-out only (mandatory)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procurement processes
• Experience with accounting software and advanced MS Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
