Accountant – Digital & Virtual Assets

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented accountant with strong experience in digital assets, virtual asset transactions, and crypto-related accounting. The ideal candidate will be confident in handling both traditional bookkeeping and blockchain-based financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations

Record and reconcile crypto mining revenues, token transactions, and exchange activities

Monitor wallet balances, transaction logs, and exchange statements

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Manage VAT, corporate tax, and compliance filings in the UAE

Assist with audits and ensure adherence to regulatory standards

Maintain accurate records for intercompany transactions, including eliminations

Work with management to improve financial controls and reporting systems

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience

Mandatory: Hands-on experience with digital asset accounting (crypto mining, exchange operations, wallet reconciliations, etc.)

Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT, and corporate tax

Experience with accounting software that supports crypto (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho, or crypto-specific tools)

Excellent Excel skills and strong analytical abilities

High attention to detail and integrity

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of blockchain networks and transaction tracing

Experience with UAE free zone or mainland company structures

Familiarity with compliance requirements around virtual assets (VARA, AML, KYC)
