Role Overview

We are looking for an Accountant with hands-on Zoho Books experience who has worked with an online / e-commerce brand. The role involves end-to-end accounting, P&L and balance sheet ownership, vendor coordination, compliance, and basic HR/payroll administration.

This role requires someone who is system-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable following up with vendors and marketplaces through email, support tickets, calls, and WhatsApp.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance

• Maintain complete books of accounts in Zoho Books (mandatory)
• Prepare and review P&L statements and balance sheets
• Record expenses, sales, journal entries, and adjustments
• Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
• Track receivables, payables, and outstanding balances

Vendor Management & Coordination

• Coordinate with marketplaces and offline vendors for:
• payment follow-ups
• settlements
• discrepancies
• Raise and track support tickets with marketplaces
• Follow up with offline vendors via calls and WhatsApp reminders
• Assist in managing vendor agreements and contracts
• Maintain vendor records and payment schedules

Compliance & Statutory Work

• Handle statutory compliances including:
• GST documentation and coordination
• TDS-related records
• statutory filings (with CA support if applicable)
• Maintain compliance calendars and documentation

HR & Payroll Administration

• Handle attendance and leave records
• Coordinate payroll processing
• Maintain employee records and documentation
• Support hiring paperwork and onboarding formalities
• Ensure compliance with internal HR policies

Skills & Requirements

• Mandatory experience with Zoho Books
• Experience working with an online / e-commerce brand
• Strong understanding of P&L and balance sheets
• Comfortable with vendor communication and follow-ups
• Knowledge of basic HR and payroll processes
• Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• High attention to detail and ownership mindset
