We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong expertise in ERP systems, specifically Odoo, to manage and streamline our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing transactions, and ensuring proper implementation and use of ERP across accounting and inventory functions
- Manage complete accounting cycle in Odoo (sales, purchases, expenses, journal entries)
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions
- Maintain general ledger, receivables, payables, and bank reconciliations
- Handle inventory accounting (very important for manufacturing setup)
- Generate financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) from Odoo
- Ensure accurate stock valuation and costing in ERP
- Monitor and control petty cash and operational expenses
- Coordinate with operations, sales, and warehouse teams for data accuracy
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (Sales Tax, Income Tax, etc.)
- Identify inefficiencies and improve ERP workflows
Preferred Industry Experience
- FMCG / Food / Manufacturing environment
- Experience handling production + inventory-linked accounting
Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / ACCA / CA (Inter) or equivalent
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience Requirements
- 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Minimum 1–2 years hands-on experience in Odoo ERP (mandatory)
- Experience in inventory + costing modules of Odoo
- Experience in ERP implementation or setup will be a strong plus
Skills Required
- Strong command of Odoo Accounting & Inventory modules
- Good understanding of stock flows and costing methods (FIFO/AVCO)
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
