Job Description:
We are looking for an Accountant with experience in ERPNext to manage financial operations in a restaurants and central kitchen environment. The role includes handling accounting records, managing inventory and product costing, working with recipes (recipe costing), and preparing financial and tax reports.
Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions in ERPNext.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable and follow up on payments.
- Monitor purchases and expenses and ensure accurate recording.
- Manage and track inventory for the central kitchen and restaurant branches.
- Work on recipe costing and product cost calculations.
- Track raw material consumption and link it with recipes in the system.
- Prepare financial reports such as profit & loss and monthly reports.
- Prepare and review tax and VAT reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Provide management with financial analysis and cost control reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in restaurants or catering businesses.
- Hands-on experience with ERPNext.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, food cost, and recipe costing.
- Experience preparing tax and VAT reports.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
