We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Facilities Management team. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and vendor/contractor payment management related to facility operations. You will work closely with FM supervisors, procurement, and management to ensure accurate and transparent financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable for FM operations.
- Record and reconcile maintenance fees, service charges, utility expenses, and other operational costs.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, aging reports, cash-flow reports, and cost analysis.
- Handle bank reconciliations, petty cash, and journal entries.
- Process and verify vendor invoices, quotations, LPOs, and contract payments.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for FM contracts.
- Track and manage client billing, collections, and follow-ups on outstanding payments.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial documentation and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements.
- Support internal/external audit preparations and respond to queries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in Facility Management, Property Management, or Construction.
- Knowledge of IFRS, general accounting principles, and cost control.
- Strong skills in Excel and accounting/ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience with service contracts, vendor payments, and FM cost structures is an advantage.
