Job Title: Accountant (Finance Department)
Location: Mohali

About the Role

We are looking for a self-driven and experienced Accountant who can independently manage the complete accounts department. The ideal candidate must have strong command over accounting principles, hands-on experience with modern accounting software, and the ability to handle end-to-end accounting operations with accuracy, confidentiality, and ownership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage the accounting function and daily financial operations.
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow reports.
  • Handle Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable efficiently.
  • Manage vendor payments, deposits, withdrawals, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely filing and compliance with GST and TDS regulations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Use Zoho Books and Tally Prime for day-to-day accounting.
  • Assist in management reporting and financial analysis.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and accuracy in all financial records.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to improve accounting processes and reporting accuracy.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred).
  • 4–5 years of relevant experience in general accounting or tax accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in Zoho Books, Tally Prime, and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis).
  • Experience in computerized ledger systems and automation tools.
  • Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong sense of ownership, integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Additional Requirements

  • Preference will be given to male candidates due to role-specific responsibilities.
  • Candidates currently pursuing CA or planning to pursue CA need NOT apply.
  • Must be capable of managing the entire accounts department independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
