We're currently seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our administrative team and ensure accurate financial management and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the clinic’s financial records (income, expenses, patient billing, insurance claims)
- Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Prepare and issue invoices for consultations, procedures, diagnostics, and other services
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and collections from patients/insurers
- Reconcile bank statements and track daily cash flow and collections
- Maintain petty cash records and perform monthly reconciliations
- Assist in payroll processing and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, GST)
- Generate and analyze monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Support internal or external audits as needed
- Monitor financial procedures and suggest improvements to streamline operations
- Coordinate with doctors, reception, and admin team on billing issues or discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and maintain up-to-date records for statutory audits
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com)
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a clinic or healthcare environment
- Proficient in accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian statutory regulations
- Excellent Excel and data entry skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
